Hi! I’m Renae Sullivan, an eager and dedicated artist/musician based in NYC.

At the end of 2025 I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in music and foreign language from Sarah Lawrence College and received the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award in Music from The Presser Foundation. While at Sarah Lawrence, I studied voice with Dr. Kirsten Brown and also took courses in music composition and conducting. In my third year, I had the privilege of studying in Paris, France at École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot under the guidance of Mme. Sylvie Sullé.

I made my operatic debut at the Vienna Summer Music Festival, originating the role of Uranus in the world premiere of PLUTO and covering the role of Musetta in La Bohème. Other notable roles on stage include Cinderella in Into the Woods and Katherine Plumber in Disney’s Newsies!

Along with performing, I also enjoy sharing my passion of music through teaching other artists. I have taught piano to kids ages 5-9 and led a band of kids 14-16 at my childhood summer camp that I hold very dear to my heart, giving one-on-one lessons and scoring/writing music for bass, guitar, piano, voice, drums, and trumpet. I have learned a lot through teaching, and I pride myself on the philosophy that to learn is to teach and to teach is to learn.
